i agree that cdma sucks as it is not a global standard but get off the icrap kick. there are way better phones out there.
this does not include silver members. do the math if every xbox360 comes with a free silver mebership then that would mean a 1 for 1 ie 30 million sold = 30 million subscribers.
You just gave the best reason for these. External inclosures suck balls when you constantly open them up to swap drives. This keeps you from having to have multiple inclosures as well as giving hot swappability without having to open your pc case. You obviously dont do much computer work. For those of us in the tech field these are extremely useful. Makes backups a breeze and lets me use all the old drives I have from previous upgrades.
Because Apple is selling you a service pack and MS gives those away for free.
rtfa....leds dont burn out like bulbs hence no replacing of lights after 3k
Actually the Xbox360 supports 802.11a,b and g. MS recommends using 802.11a. As far as bottlenecking with the consoles you playing online games on all 3 at the same time?
ment to add....thats why u can still by vhs even though dvd has blasted it in the @$$
for one the shelf space for rental companies is a small one..compared to the warehouse of shelf space they have. so why alienate customers that wish to rent the prduct of thier choice. purpose of a business is to make as much money as possible if u r not selling to everyone possible u r not maximizing profit. lets say i have 100 ppl that have product a and 200 ppl that have prioduct b. the smart thing is to sell to both so u have 100% buying from u and not just 2/3. u dont stop selling something until there is no more of it unless ppl are not buying it to begin with which is not the case here.
@ Fat A$$

Actually upwards of 25 million to just one studio...

@Snowdog

Plenty of proof...You obviouslly dont know a thing about business and profitability. You dont stop selling things that make you money.
Guess noones seems to realize how much Sony spent in paying off these companies to drop their rival. Why else would Netflix and Bestbuy stop renting the format? People still have HD DVD players. Therefore renting the format only makes you money. Same goes with Walmart. The only reason to stop carrying a product that people will buy because they have the hardware to utilize it is if the competition pays you to remove it. Seems funny that when Microsoft bundled something and supposedly killed their rivals format everyone stated how evil they were. Even the EU forced them to remove said product. Why is it that Sony can do the same and get away with it?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
