No Super Bowl coverage here either. To much of the "other" kind of football.

I wish I were home today... just to watch the game.
I had often wondered if it was someone's birthday or something. However, I also think that it is rather irritating to have it display the wrong date when the app is closed.
Brazilians would get a kick out of this phone....

Sorry for the bad pun.
I had a friend with a similar board to this in his studio (no USB action, though). It was a bit noisy. It wasn't a ton of noise, but it was there, especially noticeable in the quieter sections of recordings.

They may have made that better in this version, but I would definitely check it out before making a purchase–unless it does not matter to you.
I just wonder why so many waste time with this sort of conjecture. It looks pretty, but why spend the time making it?

I guess if one has a lot of time on thier hands...

In order for Apple to make inroads into the Pro Tools market, I think they would need to provide something far more robust than Garage Band, and far less costly (think: half) than Logic Pro.

If they did this, it would provide a competitive tool for all those small studios out there who are running Apple hardware already.

I have never tried Logic Pro simply because Pro Tools is the industry standard. If I need to collaborate with another studio, I need Pro Tools.

Garage Band is a great tool as well–if you are trying to make a podcast, or just a simple thing, but it lacks a whole lot of features when stacked against Pro Tools, or Logic Pro.
I myself recently backed up my system, and re-installed the entire OS. For some reason this saved me between 10 and 15 GB of space on the HDD.

Not sure what was there that should not have been, but I have not missed it.

My Titanium started out on 10.2, and I recently upgraded to 10.4 (skipping 10.3)--not sure if that had anything to do with it.
Isn't that called bribery? Or, maybe because its Microsoft they can get away with it...

I don't get it.
Image Well (free): Drag and drop to resize images, change formats, and even do some editing. Excellent for the quick and dirty image resize.

Adium (free): This app just rocks. Handles all my chat (except Skype), and does so with incredible style. I am very impressed.

Journler (donationware): Try it out. It does a little of everything with the option of encrypting it.

There are more, but I might decide to write an entry using ecto about them, so I won't give them all away here.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
