They did not REPORT sales officially until March which is what Autoblog and everyone else uses in their reporting. So DUH!
But you could buy a Mustang, you couldn't buy a Camaro.
New Camaro officially went on sale March 17 2009. So Mustang had 2.5 month head start. And there was limited availability at first too. Can't believe this story ran as is.
I don't understand the headline. What about this is antiquated or compared to Sync when it was introduced? It has different functions but the advanced part that is most up to date with Sync is the reading and replying to text messaging, nothing to do with weather and traffic.

This IS NOT hooked up with Nav, it is stand alone with the screen and camera so it wouldn't make sense to do those things.

The 1GB of storage seems kind of silly though.
They've added the $3,200 Premium Package as standard equipment for 2010 on the sport models. that's why there is a larger price difference. Its in the spec sheet not in the press release. It's likely few dealers ordered them without it anyway.
He's also been fired from every publication there is, including Autoblog. And now it seems he's been fired from his own site.

There is a reason why someone can't get along with others and it has nothing to do with journalistic integrity etc. Plus, many journalists would say trying to antagonize with reviews is as guilty a sin as being too generous, which he accuses everyone else of.
ALSO!!!!!!!! Note it does say UP TO 25% all macs. So maybe that's on the top end, most expensive models and the rest are 10%.
Well, if it doesn't include iPhones the only number giving me pause is the mac 25% off. However, I was shopping @ Deer Park mall in IL which has an apple store and it was very empty compared to overall shopping and it's usually the busiest store there.

They may need the buzz and perhaps their inventories for the mac line are too high for pre-holidays and they want to clear them out? Has there been any report on how the new iMacs, MacBooks and Minis are selling?

If it's one day a year it's not going to stop people between Dec 26 and let's say Sept. 1 from buying macs when they need to.
My only comment on this is:
In the months before and after CFC ended were there lines of buyers out the door at dealerships? Are/were new car inventories depleted?

You can look at numbers anyway you want, I think the people on the ground selling cars will tell you it worked, period, and the drop off afterward went right back to a normalized sales level, not less. October sales are predicted to also be up so the potential "roll up" effect they mention where you're stealing sales from the future, lasted less than a month. There was much more dropoff in sales after the famed Employee Pricing sales of a few years back.
You realize the program has only been in effect for 32 days. Meaning there have been only 2 days of eligibility to return a car. The real story is that so few take the offer at all.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"For a long time I have been searching for a portable device where I can store all of my CDs in MP3 format and stream the songs wirelessly to my HiFi system. The portable device must I've tried FM transmitters, they all suck. I don't want a docking station. Any help? Thanks!" have a display so that I easily can scroll through the playlists (I don't want to use a TV or monitor). I suppose that there must also be a second device that is connected to the HiFi system that would receive the wireless streams from the portable device.
