Yes I'd like to win one please. I hope the email telling me I've won doesn't get spammed!
A) After the Xbox switched it's UI to the 3D'esk view where icons fly past the left side of the screen, I would ALWAYS get a headache on the left side of my head, so I stopped using Xbox. I'll check out this update, but I'll have to get the Advil ready first...

B) PS3 will get MKV support since PS3 is an official Divx playback device (whereas xbox is not), and Divx standard has officially accepted the MKV container. The container is basically just a holder for Divx/MP4/etc with multiple audio/subtitles inside. (or you can use "PS3 media server" on the PC where all your MKV files are and it will stream them to your PS3 right quick)

C) I think everyone knows but this is obviously Microsoft’s way to keep your money going into their pockets... I mean, Paypal integration and paid visual improvements? This is only being accepted because it was slowly introduced, everyone got used to handing over a few more dollars, and now its common practice.
Yeah it pretty much is a waste of time. Its an iDisk viewer, woo... you can't play a series of mp3's off it, just one file at a time, you can't access your mobile me gallery, you can't download, OR upload. Completely worthless. I'll probably cancel Mobile Me because I was betting on iDisk being able to be integrated into the iPhone OS like Mobile Me is, you know like while browsing the net you can save files by click-holding and choosing "Download file to iDisk" but nooooo its NOTHING.
You're right, I was thinking mobileme gallery where i can view pictures and videos. I think other apps still do this iDisk thing better though since you can upload your photos and videos to your iDisk with other apps. You don't seem to be able to access your gallery pictures or videos though iDisk app so therefore if you've uploaded and deleted them you still have to use the web or another application.

It just plain isn't worth much.
Kinda sucks... just logs you in like the website does. When you play a mp3 it won't play the next one after it, it goes back to the menu so you can't play all your songs. Other apps are better, very dissapointing.
I'll figure out some way to fix the economy just gimmie!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am trying to configure out a really dumbed down and intuitive PC for my grandmother. She recently had a stroke and while she is under my care I would like to repurpose a laptop for her to surf and email her children. Anyone have any experience with what input devices and UI's are really understandable for the over 80 crowd?"
