Some mystery power source that would never work in real life...

You mean like zero-point energy, power crystals and cold fusion?? haha.
AHAHAHAHA!!!

You laugh now, but wait until some distracted kid in their daddy's BMW *nearly* plows into your 1970 Chevelle. Then you might appreciate the tech.
By that logic a tray loading SD card bay would be superior to a slot.
I'll keep my slot loading drives, thanks.
Does anyone know yet, the capability to play mp3's? Audiobooks, browsing then games are what I want; even with a 32 gig card this is still cheaper than an iPod touch. I like my mac, but no expandable memory in the damn Touch is bizarre.

MP3's, browsing, & maybe games... what are some good choices for devices? (don't say netbook)
I've been debating a DS or iPod Touch for ages. Expandable memory is important.
Big question though... what size of SD card will it recognize? 2, 4, 8 or 32gig??

Heh, that hasn't stopped anyone before.
Still funny though. Then again I miss the over-the-top comments by Clak.
Didn't Engadget just have a story about e-waste and it's impact on the world?

These insta-landfill devices are another reason why manufacturers should be legally responsible for their product after it's been sold.

Here's a short video about our crap, from beginning to end. (She's somewhat annoying/patronizing)

Most people don't like Vista. Who's fault is that?

It's cumbersome and doesn't work any better than XP for our office; actually worse as we had to buy new printers since there were no new drivers for them.

The old mac powerbook I bought runs better, and it's nearly seven years old.

No more technical BS, finally a computer that just works.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
