@Kuruption
Ooh.. divx would be neat.. I can watch movies on the go.
Good call
I just got the Droid a few days ago to consider switching from the iPhone. If it was about me and my changes, I would:
-Not have to reboot after using headphones
-Not have to reboot to get Android Market, Google Voice, etc to work
-Have 100% virtual landscape keyboard support
-In Contact Page, improve scrolling. The jump slider isn't that great hiding on me all the time
-If this platform is 'open', than allow me to map a drive to it from my Mac of PC so I can move files easier
-Google Voice can be the default dialer, how about default txt.
-Landscape home screen w/o having to slide keyboard out
-Allow apps like Pandora to be seen when screen is locked so we can easily see what is playing w/o unlocking phone
-Fix Google Voice to stop sending 2 txts to people when using the SMS feature
-Option to disable the volume control..Its so touchy and always bumping it when using the phone
-Use WiFi when trying to access Android Market, Google Voice, etc
I wonder if this will support higher refresh rates than 24hz like 30hz and 120hz.
I had issues with an hdmi cable that came with my 360 when I used it on other devices pushing lots of data.. I upgraded the cable via monoprice.com and now works better. I had the same issue again when I used a hdmi receiver.
Guess we'll find out via spec sheet and/or testing hands on.
Keep your HD-DVD.
Buy lots of Gatorade and lots of HD-porn.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
