I think gone are my days of lugging around a 17" beast of a Dell. I always told myself I would never replace my laptop with a netbook. Now I cant wait till they meet my requirements and this is one step closer.
The cross elasticity of demand for PS3 I assume is positive. I'm willing to bet the reason for this is due to the availability of a substitute product like the Xbox360. I cant comment on the price elasticity but we can probably assume its elastic and the demand picks up with a price decrease. That being said, Sony certainly has researched the hotspot for pricing its PS3 that will net it the most income. Should they price it lower, demand will pick up, but not enough to offset the higher variable costs associated with the increase. I'd like to see the contribution on these bad boys but honestly, if these were not priced right, there is something seriously wrong at SONY that is more important that weak sales.
You do realize you said "MOM said know such thing" dont you? If your willing to correct someone else's grammar, start by saying "MOM said no such thing". No and Know are two different words in case your mom failed to enroll you in preschool because she thought this was all stupid.
I like this approach. The Mac ads really are about two nerds bickering over aesthetics and other geeky things. These ads put the human element into computing. We are human, not hardware.
"Hello? Boss? Oh hey... uh yeah so ok I crashed it and I went to hit alt-ctrl-del like in the manual but I cant find alt-ctrl-del..................the what?...ohhhhhhhh.......crap....so doesnt restart my car then?"

Yeah, it was difficult to click the "Everun Note" link in the middle of the paragraph.
"device operates on the 2.4GHz frequency"

Playing Asus Boxing....phone rings...u get TKO
So now $1000 laptops are more attractive than this. Where is our $200 pricepoint.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
