I work in a hospital and have over heard a couple of the surgeons speaking of this instrument. After watching the video, I can see why they are thinking of doing some mock trials of their own. Seems like a nice advancement for surgical practices.

Now, the gamer in me simply would like to know how long till the military uses this to fabricate a Plasma Sword?

WOW, everyone is actually still doing the 360 vs. the Ps3 thing? It's simple really. Well, if you have an open mind that is. Each proves to have it's own positive. 360 has a major negative in the awesome RROD cheat code. PS3 has more raw power, but the games have yet to model it. 360 has a pretty decent array of games, a better designed controller, the best online out of the two, Arcade, and XNA on Arcade.
Yes, you have to pay for Live, however, it's well worth it. No, I do not have a PS3. I was so against it when it first came out since I am a FPS fan and Sony is more of RPG/Platform. Then I played it few games on it when I worked at GameCrazy and though I was impressed, I was not going to up and buy it with less than a hand full of games I like. I will get it when there are at least 7 games I just have to have or I upgrade my entertainment center.
Anyway, if a bigger HD is available, cool. I still have 10GB of my 20 left from 2 years ago. My movies and my music are on my pc. My 360 is for gaming. I say this because my biggest issue is not anything all of you feel so compelled to discuss, but something that no one has mention yet, DRM. When I upgrade to the Elite, because I fell that is a far better value if I am going to gt the PS3, the stupid DRM that Redmond has yet to address as a major concern, will not allow me to play the Arcade games I have bought with my hard earned MicroPoints on the new system unless I am connected on line. Ri-F'ing-diculous! My purchase, my games. Give em back Microsoft. FIX IT!
I am offering a reward to anyone who can find my crt. She is about 32 inches wided, Slimfit, and answers to the name Samsung. She left me and filed for divorce when she caught me looking at this hot 42 inch, sleek cheek. I thinks she is PHILLIP-ino. If you find Samsung, let her know I want my HDMI cables back so I can hook up with that PHILLIP-ino hottie.

My number is 693-642-3438.
(That's MY-ENGADGET for the slower people)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I love my little computing companion but I often find myself missing a full sized keyboard. I have been looking at several of these portable and flexible keyboards, but I can't seem to make up my mind about which I should buy. I don't want the keyboard to be overly expensive, but I want it to be good quality. Also, how difficult is it to type on these keyboards? Thanks!"
