To Matteo - if you have an external HD, use carbon copy cloner to copy your current system to that. Then when leopard boots up for the first time, you will be able to use the migration assistant to just copy your user back over.
Otherwise, you can use migration assistant after creating a clean user to just copy over the applications, but doing this will lose all of your preferences in any applications.
