I already own one, and I can say that I was very unsatisfied initially (back in Dec 2006), but now the great titles are starting to get closer to release. Some are already here too. I recently completed Uncharted: Drake's Fortune and I was incredibly impressed with the game. It's now one of my favourites. I'm occupied with Hot Shots Golf 5 (the Japanese version) and I'm really liking it. The free online thing is great too, but lacks in the friend communication area. Once Home comes out though (hopefully this year), things should improve a lot.
As far as multimedia goes, I can't complain as of now. I would, however, like to see support for more containers and such, like MKV but with the recent addition of Xvid and Divx, I can't complain that much. Blu ray is nice too, but I'm not really one to buy movies.
No. Solar power is still a shitty, expensive and pretty much a waste of money when it comes to power distribution. Not only does it have a low power output per unit area, factor in the extreme cost of the plant, the high maintenance costs and the fact that it basically only works for 12 hours a day and you'll see what I mean.
If "green power" or whatever you hippies are after, nuclear power and hydro is the way to go. Just because you hear Arizona doesn't mean that the place is devoid of sufficient water. Remember Hoover Dam?
"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
