A train?

But seriously, the Tesla S will be capable of that, and even modern EVs might not need much modification if some technologies I've seen were taken up.

I guess really, if you want to travel farther in a petrol car you pump more fuel, if you want to go farther in an electric car you carry more batteries.
How do you get an RTM copy and can I install my Eval copy on multiple PCs?
"What, no in-game music player? How hard is this? Seriously sony!"

Sony are not legally allowed to do this, M$ patented the abilty to play music off the HDD with the OS while a game is running. I'd like to see Microsoft penalised for this but it doesn't affect sales and wouldn't be serious enough for anyone to waist money over...

Search joystiq, this i saw the patent...
Do you know why on the PS3 you can't play music and play a game at the same time? Because Microsoft patented it, I worry that many of these "catch-up" situations are caused because someone holds the rights to what should be a basic service.

I mean, it's almost as if MS patented word processors and forced all the other companies to pay to use a common-sense idea...
Are you sure that this can be used in laptops? A lithium battery and a lithium-ion battery aren't the same thing, from what I gather these batteries will not be rechargeable, and therefore will not be used in laptops, more likely they'll be used in toys etc.
I may try to make a train based level, where you have to keep up with it, I remember playing a Genesis game with a level like that and though it was difficult, it was very fun.

Cheap attempt at getting a key but but I feel like a vass of tulips.

Indeed, I watched Pocoyo occasionally just because of his great narrative power. This game is gonna be the peak of the British games industry...
I hope the headset by itself is cheaper in Europe, I like having games on my HD, especially now that LBP is BD-only, but I still want the headset.

They should let you download the game to your hard drive when you have the BD version, either by installing from the disc, or downloading from the store...
People have to understand the types of energy being used here, this is Magnetic Induction, I'm no expert, but I believe that it's only Magnetic forces that are being "polluted", it'll probably be much more dangerous to your hard drive than you.

Also, I don't think 75% is a likely figure for the things it will mostly be used for, if there's one of these embeded in a table you don't have to keep your laptop 3 feet away from the table to charge it up, I'd imagine that it would work much better at close range, just like any modern Induction Coil.

Does your toothbrush charge when you leave it 3 feet away???
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
