Is that Display Port in the back?
@KAL326

Pinetrail = joke
This is sort of interesting because if I'm not mistaken, xbmc more heavily relies on OpenGL. Still, nice to see them taking full advantage of Ion's potential, and I assume this will start showing up on commercial HTPC's (Acer Aspire Revo, etc.) in no time.
@Pyronick

Except that the current onslaught of atom processors mixed with ion graphic chipsets have completely changed the scope of the HTPC market in the last year or so, and represent the majority of new HTPC systems. I'll go a step farther and say that that platform in many ways has saved / resurrected the HTPC market, and until ion chipsets no longer play nice with intel architecture, will most likely represent the majority of HTPC builds.
Ion is simply the best thing to happen to the Atom platform.

And this guy looks pretty sweet.. Price?
@Hydra

Along with lacking that huge screen, it also still lacks a 3.5mm jack
@NeonCoyote

Yes because the only way you can get a virus is pr0n. And with that "pretty good" anti-virus software I'm sure everything is kept perfectly safe. Why that silly SP3 was just a bunch of hoopla come to think of it.

I dare someone else to mention 2012 - because it clearly hasn't been used enough.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"All of these new nettops have me intrigued. I'm looking for a small, quiet and cheap PC to replace my aging tower in my home office, and all it really needs to do is load Microsoft Office, check email and surf the web. Is there a particular nettop that's better (or a better value) than another? I know it's a rather new segment, but hopefully someone has taken a chance on one already. Thanks!"
