Yes, you have to have the MyTouch/Android data plan.
Sure, I'll bite. One of those would be useful in my office.
I'd like to go... (I might even just pay the reg fees...)
There's no MyFaves logo on the back of the Current G1. Chill out, guy.
It is a NA model. It has AWS, which is a North American 3G format (T-Mobile US). Looks like AT&T got snubbed on this one.
@saad Good God man, upgrade! I just built a friend a full DDR3, Core2Duo, 9600 GT for like $400 and change. lol
I thought Google was in talks to purchase Skype?
It also doesn't have a "with Google" on the back cover.
A big win for T-Mobile USA and Deutsche Telekom!
1700/2100 band for T-Mobile's 3G confirmed on this phone?

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
