I highly recommend the Newer Technology miniStack for a similar look but some nicer features. Get it without a drive, and it's $69, which it is well worth. Now only is it a Firewire/USB hub, but it will only turn itself on when hooked up to your Mac. I find this invaluable as I have a laptop that I "dock" when I'm home, so this external drive isn't running all day long for no reason.
I don't know if I believe that 2 monitors or 1 large (30" LCD?) monitor is better for productivity, but when I was looking for an LCD for home I chose the 24" widescreen Dell over the 30" from Apple/Dell for 2 reasons: 1) price (which is obvious) and 2) the numerous inputs available on the 20" and 24" Dells. At home, I've got my MacBook Pro hooked up to the DVI input, my Dell desktop hooked up to the RGB input, my Xbox hooked up to the Component input, my TiVo hooked up to the Svideo input and my Gamecube hooked up to the Composite input.

How's that for multitasking (especially with PIP enabled)?
Now where was this post on September 19th, Talk Like a Pirate Day? At least I'll have it for next year I suppose.

I'm still waiting for my OS X pirate localization though.
I've been lucky enough to be able to use a prerelease version of Ma.gnolia Ma.rker for the past few weeks and I can tell you that it's a great little widget. I've recently switched from del.icio.us to Ma.gnolia as my primary bookmarking system thanks to this widget and the update to the Social Bookmarks Quicksilver plugin, which now supports Ma.gnolia.

The handy rating and public/private switch on this widget are really nice. As far as browser support goes, it works with Safari and Firefox from what I can tell. It may work with other browsers, but I haven't tested it yet.

And just so you know, if you have both Safari and Firefox open, Safari's current URL overrides Firefox, so the widget isn't smart enough to use your currently active browser. That would be a nice feature though.
Like comment #5 says, Firefox and voting equals no dice. It appears the site is using Mootools for Javascript effects and AJAX, which is supposed to be Firefox compatible, but obviously something is not right.

Using Safari, I had no issues.
I completely agree. While going to View -> Hide MiniStore sounds simple enough, the fact of the matter is that Apple used to have simple instructions on hiding it within the MiniStore itself with a quick access button below to hide it, and now they've removed that. There is absolutely no reason to remove this simple functionality other than to get more users to see the MiniStore (there is definitely enough room on the bottom bar for that button). And besides that, I didn't know if it was possible to hide the MiniStore in iTunes 7 until I read this post because I typically don't go rooting around in the menubar when using iTunes (as I'm sure most people don't).
Once I get unpacked (I just moved), I can certainly provide a video of my Mac Classic booting if you'd like (hopefully better quality than this one).

And if you're really good, I might even get video of IE3 loading up TUAW.com (albeit very, very slowly). Yes, my Mac Classic is networked.
The "Check For Updates" button doesn't seem to be working for me, regardless if I try it on B49 or B50. Also, the Quicksilver download for blacktree.com isn't working either, so I wonder if there is some sort of connection error going on.

I refreshed my list of plugins and I see the del.icio.us plugin update (dated yesterday), but I can't install it (clicking the checkbox next to it doesn't install it like it normally would).

I would guess that something is wrong on Blacktree's side of things and it's preventing updates from Quicksilver.
I wrote a little review of my own:

Like you said, the Nike+iPod kit is definitely motivating me to run, and I really hate running. The stat tracking, community challenges and goal setting on Nike's website is great, not to mention the iPod software with voiceovers.
I wrote up a little review of my own yesterday after picking up the kit and a new pair of kicks.

I'm really happy with the system and even though I'm not a runner, I think this will give me the motivation to continue doing it.

Much more successful than the Motorola/Apple partnership, that's for sure.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
