Samsung courts SanDisk, promises mercy {Engadget}

Sep 5th 2008 6:49AM Samsung cheapo? Have you been under a rock for the last 5 years , they're a premier brand with some of the best, most relisable and definitely most reasonably priced tech out there.

Jury finds Taser accountable for man's death, awards $6m settlement to family {Engadget}

Jun 11th 2008 4:23AM The guy was getting the taser, or a beating with a nightstick. In the majority of cases the taser is safer and will cause less harm than the alternatives. The guy was high on meth at the time, and was apportioned 85% of the blame in his own death. Which means it was mostly suicide by cop, I'm guessing this will be appealed.

Sony TG3E: world's smallest 1080i camcorder unboxed, sized-up with 720p champ {Engadget}

May 2nd 2008 6:03AM What about the Xacti HD1000 , its 1080i , it may be marginally bigger but thats because of the larger lens and with that resolution I'd rather have the better optics thanks. Any chance of a comparison between the two ?

Apr 30th 2008 10:32AM Sorry didn't spot the guy above with the same idea.

Multitouch surface made out of box, webcam, and glass {Engadget}

Apr 30th 2008 10:31AM Couldn't you combine this with a projector overhead pointing down onto the sheet of glass to create some interesting board games, or DM'ing with serious style.

AMD introduces Business Class desktops for the suits {Engadget}

Apr 28th 2008 9:59AM What is wrong with them, they've been lagging behind for over a year. Surely they should have come up without something to compete with Intel. I remember the heady days when Intel were eating AMD's dust, where's the fight gone?

They're like Rocky, in Rocky 3, they got rich and lazy and Intel went Clubber Lang all over their ass. Then their trainer died and they lost their money and bought a restaurant.... ok i've dragged that particular metaphor out too long. Still though, EYE OF THE TIGER!!
