They are quite popular among students in the UK, I've seen no less than 20 iPhones in the last month and I know lots of people with them.
The "Read" link is suffering from a mild case of "The Digg Effect" so here's a version from the Coral Cache:

I wish they could crack DAAP too, Ever since the update to iTunes my Xbox Media Center won't find my iTunes share. I'm sure if this came to light here in the UK Apple could get into trouble, the BBC had pressure from the UK government to make their software compatible with Linux, I'm sure specifically preventing 3rd party apps working with your hardware and/or software breaks at least one law.

One of the most annoying things about the iPod is that you can't normally plug it into anyone's computer and drag music to it, it has to be connected to YOUR iTunes to work properly, programs like Amarok allowed this and Apple are trying to shut them out.
It's still up on the less popular blogs, either that or they are ingnoring any legal threats:

They would be silly to kill off the 2G nano with this though, It makes more sense as a new product line (iPod Micro?). I own a 2G nano because of it's size, a shuffle doesn't suit my needs because it has no screen, nor does a full sized iPod because I don't need video playback and it's too big.
Teledildonics!
By the way, if anyone is curious, the block of 16 PC's in the middle are using the Aspire X-Qpack case. It is a small cube case with 3 windows and takes a Micro ATX motherboard and has a removable motherboard tray. The front also has a carrying handle and CPPU/HDD thermometers. I had it for my last computer and it was a very nice case.
Once you escape the official sony firmware you should start using custom firmware. I am currently using 3.40-OE which is the official 3.40 firmware but modified to allow homebrew to be used as well as other settings to tweak CPU speed and allow plugins to be loaded in the background (such as the one that lets you stream video of the PSP's screen to a computer).
There is no reason to use the official firmware as the custom one has the same features and can run UMD's that require the official version.
GT/s = Giga Transfer per Second. They were talking about the future of the PCI-Express specification back in 2002. They even said that the next revision will probably be 10GT/s.
This is one of the best games from the past, probably what spawned the rollercoaster tycoon series and all other theme parks sims around today. It was one of the excellent Bulffrog games from Peter Molyneux (Created Lionhead Studios - Black & White 1/2, Fable, Movies).

I'd love to see his other games such as Theme Hospital and Dungeon keeper make an appearence on the DS.
There may be some truth in the iPod nano rumour. In September 2005, the month preceeding the nano launch, Apple teamed up with Walkers and gave away an iPod mini every 5 minutes during september, totaling somewhere over 9,000 iPods, a good way of clearing out your inventory.
Better not be UK supplies, I've been holding off buying an Import because the UK release was so soon. I may place a pre-order in case stores are affected.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"All of these new nettops have me intrigued. I'm looking for a small, quiet and cheap PC to replace my aging tower in my home office, and all it really needs to do is load Microsoft Office, check email and surf the web. Is there a particular nettop that's better (or a better value) than another? I know it's a rather new segment, but hopefully someone has taken a chance on one already. Thanks!"
