I gotta ask, why is the keyboard thing an issue? The Droid has both an on-screen and slider keyboards, and does this in a package that's only 3.3mm thicker than the iphone 3gs. I understand having a preference, but I would think that having the option to use either without sacrificing more than 1/8 inch would make this a non-issue at worst, and a solid point for the Droid at best.

That being said, you pay for it, you get to pick. Yeah, so there's really no reason for me to even post this.
Wow, only two hundredths of a cent? I'd hate to see the eloquent vitriol you could spew for the full two cents' worth. I'm imagining it now:

RRAAAGH!!!! GROWLSLOBBERSNORTRANT!! FUGLYFAILFELLATIO!!!

Anyway, thanks for your input.
Wasn't expecting this thing to be quite that big. It's pushing the bounds of portable, but still I have to respect the man for the modding time put in. Seriously, I looked at the video and hoped that those hands belonged to an Oompa Loompa, or one of the Lolly Pop Guild.

Impressive. Not for me, but damned impressive.
"it doesn't have the Apple on it so I don't care."

Soooo good, even if it earned a downrank to oblivion.

Ooh, new business plan, Apple-ish logo skins for non-Apple devices. Somebody get on that, and let me know how quickly you get sued.
Sweet merciful frack, can we ban this d-bag already?
Aw poop, the spam comment that I replied to is gone now. Bravo for wiping the spam, but you should have at least saved the Engrish fails.
"Only this site have the treatment", "enjoy the gifts sent by my company in a can also request to our company", "Buy more get the more".

Hate the spam comments, love the Engrish. That's just so good.
Engadget headline revealed to include misspelling.
@ clever,

It's one thing to have a sensitivity issue, it's another to bust out the K-Fed issue fashion victim shades. Come to think of it, Nike was test-marketing contact-lenses that were shaded. Maybe this guy could be a test marketer and thereby catch less flak from the world at large.

Yes, he looks like a ween.
That's a damn good question. Are there contrast issues with the Natal that require this type of setup? If so, how many gamers are going to want to set up tanning lamps in their living room/basement/wherever their system is in order for this to work properly? I normally have the lights pretty low so that in a dimly-lit game, like Gears 2 or the like, I can see who's shooting me.

I enjoy laughing at the demo, but don't think I'd enjoy playing games with this for more than a couple minutes.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What's the best gaming laptop for under 1,500 bucks? I had my eye on the P7805u (Gateway), but it seems Best Buy has run out for the time being. Also, as a secondary question, I like the specs on brands such as iBUYPOWER and CyberPower and the like, but are they reliable? I'm a little worried about buying labels that aren't huge like Dell, Gateway, etc. Thanks!"
