I've got to agree with jakem, I can't see why anyone would want a camera on either the touch or the nano. It's seems like the laziest feature they could introduce and has me wondering if they're running out of ideas to drive future sales.

Why exactly are you 'appalled'? The current generation of s60 phones are the first i've used that aren't sluggish. The functionality is top notch and with the e-series they've the best industrial design i've seen from them years - especially the e71, which boygenius called the 'best nokia ever'.

Or do you rate phones on their potential to get their screens covered in fingerprints?

Maybe Engadget should remember that they've an international readship and pen their articles accordingly?

This is the machine that persuaded me to 'switch back' to windows when it first came out. I would highly recommend it to anyone. Could no longer justify the high price of Apple's computers, especially here in Ireland.

You'd be better off spending that money on some civics classes. Honestly, did you pay any attention in school? I'm not American and I have a better grasp of your rights than you do.

To say that it's copying the iPhone is ridiculous. Besides it bears more of a resemblance to a black nokia 6233 - a phone which predates the iPhone by at least a year. But then again that's just a coincidence.

They've also been on sale in Ireland since Tuesday.

Having had 10 S40 phones in a row, I opted for the something different when my 6233 died last week. I decided to finally try out s60 with the nokia e51. I have to say, it's incredibly responsive, easily as fast as my old 6233. I think the hardware has finally caught up with the operating system on the newer phones.
