I would totally agree with you , with one minor caveat. A browser does matter when virals like CodeRed are loose. Or when a website is hacked and has been repurposed to ship malware et .. someone like downloadsquad is hacked to send malware and i visit their site. In the case of a website that exploits older browsers (whom have long ended support cycle) they are more vulnerable. So yes having a newer up to date browser matters, but as you mentioned.... it is rare and in between to get infected when you browse the web with caution.
how i wish, i had free time to enjoy it. Thanks for the news, perhaps when i have free time, I'll take a look at it.
I definitely can't wait!
Microsoft's primary focus is software. Apple's is hardware. So if you get two dedicated companies working together you get the best of both worlds. Apple sold its macbook and microsoft os was paid to be put on top of the macbook. How is that embarrasing?

...

Quit being childish.
Hurray!

I've been waiting for this day for the longest!

Thanks!
Just Chill, I haven't used ff since 3.5 (switched to chrome) seeing thumbnails sort of make me want to go back to ff. Without Matt's review i wouldn't have known that smart-ass... even if it was a few builds ago.
It's actually not that bad... just push the update with WSUS. Its not that hard... now if we had a zero day worm with "code red"/nimba capability... then I'd be worried.
I don't even know how I would even go about assessing its value! So I can't really say!
@ Brad

Meh, it happens. =) At least you corrected yourself. I was about to update my facebook status with ZOMG goOgle OS. LoL
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
