Even if it's not MOST Mac users as you suggest - the potential for ALL of them to buy Windows for their Mac is there, and Microsoft should be embracing that instead of slamming Macs. You're right, it makes NO sense.

Why did those commercials slam Macs instead of OS X ? NO sense. MS should be saying, "See that beautiful hardware? It runs Windows just fine. Go buy one."

That way MS could collect full retail instead of the OEM pricing. MS shareholders should ask some hard questions about this.
@Rad

Agreed. it's cluttered. plus too many fonts. plus italics.
@bob e

It seems like an awful lot of different fonts on one page. Plus the italics.
Four hours? You should be convinced enough to make it four DAYS.
Grover shines in The Monster at the End of This Book. Everyone should read it.
One of my favorite Mac apps. Does its job, stays out of the way, easy to use, secure...

I finally have truly varied and random passwords for the sites I visit. And I can take all the info with me on my iPhone.

Worth the money.
It's not too hard to picture a story about some MS stores quietly being closed. These things are going to bleed cash. There won't be a way to track whatever benefit they do have and that will ignite the end.

In the end a few will remain open in cities like New York, Chicago, SF and Dallas.

Until then MS will do anything to hide the amount of revenue earned per square foot to prevent embarrassing comparisons to Apple.
I didn't know when to laugh. The Windows 7 Release Party video definitely made me cringe more.
Couldn't make it through the whole thing - even during a pitching change.
I thought this meant the device could broadcast the signal. That would be cool - just like the portable FM transmitters but for digital video. Tune your TV in to an empty channel and watch what's on your device. Who's working on that??

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am trying to configure out a really dumbed down and intuitive PC for my grandmother. She recently had a stroke and while she is under my care I would like to repurpose a laptop for her to surf and email her children. Anyone have any experience with what input devices and UI's are really understandable for the over 80 crowd?"
