I think of it as:

"one small step for iPhone, one giant leap for the consumer"
There are many variables. Since there is more ram and a faster processor, the pages will load faster, WiFi connection does matter in some aspects, as i'm sure these were tested on the same network. I just upgraded to a Macbook Pro from a Powerbook G4, and web pages load faster on my Macbook.
iPhone 3GHDs??
I know, right? With only 40 people approving apps, then they are going to get under the bus alright.
San Francisco, the brown building is the Bank of America building.
I never understood the whole "Speech to text" system for text messaging. Why not just call the person?
why are satellite phones so ugly. They should turn the iphone into a satellite phone so it can work everywhere, and still keep its 3G goodness...... Imagine service everywhere you go!! =O
@JayJay

Mirco SD slot? FM radio? How bout a not so POS screen.

(I own an iPhone 3G, its awesome in a lot of ways. but has a lot of handicaps) =/
so is t+he battery % indicator working on the 3G?? I saw on the video..
What I meant was, Is it a new HSDPA chipset that supports 7.2mbps, because the iPhone 3G already has HSDPA.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
