it's for executive types to carry on an airplane and project movies and powerpoints on the back of the seat in front of him...
and they just found out that the nanotubes may possibly pose the same sort of lung cancer risk as asbestos did. which has nothing to do with chemical composition but rather is about tiny things that lodge in the lungs and irritate over years.

meaning that it may be reasonable to think that the graphene ones might have the same possible dangers, but now it may be hundreds of times cheaper to bring them to market, so they could be everywhere before anybody even gets a chance to check...

guess i'm getting cynical in my old age.
one thing's for sure. israel has to be pretty high on the list of countries who would be happy to see the world less dependent on oil.
my biggest problem with watches like this (that do something else) is that it means i have to wear the same watch all the time, whereas now i choose each day depending on a variety of factors.
actually, in theory, since many people use some sort of elaborate photo as a desktop background, and then switched to a simple pattern, there would be a performance difference because of an increase in free video memory.

i just don't think you could notice without measuring with some sort of software, on any computer newer than 5 years.
I am the very happy owner of an 07 Santa Fe. I got what they called a 'base limited' meaning i don't have the 3rd seat or sunroof. it stickered well under $30k, and i got a decent discount from the dealer to boot.

it's so close to my 99 lexus rx300, that i couldn't imagine spending the money on a newer RX350 or whatever they are up to, which would have almost doubled the cost.

i've been driving it almost a year, and the only thing is i wish i had had the choice of the diesel engine, which has been reported online as getting as much as 50 MPG...
man these are beautiful. the italians sure know how to design a car
well, for starters, i don't want to buy anything i haven't had a chance to actually play with. but again, i wasn't talking about just the eee. gizmodo had info on the kohjinsha, said it was going to be priced similarly. and maybe a stripped down one is, but most of them are double. and i keep seeing ads and blog entries on all these others, but it seems that there are not many reviews, just previews.
i wish these all didn't seem like so much vapor-ware. i can read about them, get all worked up, but lots of luck finding them. or if you do, like the kohjinsha which is very cool but by the time you equip it the way you would want, goes from $600 to $1400 and can only be bought on ebay.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
