I went to the local Apple store today to envy the phone and frown at my wallet. After playing with it for a bit, I can safely say that my biggest interests in the device, aside form the obvious multifunctional phone/iPod combination, is definitely the Calendar application.

With Apple being a bit stingy on releasing information about the Calendar app prior to today's launch, I was worried that it was because of a half-assed application. Fifteen minutes in the Apple store totally proved me in. Curiosity has quickly turn to extraordinary envy.

C'mon... is Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 really too much to ask for?
I wouldn't mind re-purchasing the redone controllers if they were manufactured with modern parts and styled (aesthetically, such as colors and logos, not physically changed!) to fit in with other Wii products.
Meh, nothing that exciting for me. Let me know when Street Fighter Anniversary Collection and, more importantly, Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 work on the XBOX 360.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm pretty much a complete noob when it comes to camera stuff. My wife loves to take pictures, though. So much so that she literally wore out her first point and shoot camera, and the Kodak Z712 I bought for her less than two years ago is starting to act up as well. To compound the matter, we are expecting our first born sometime next year. I fear the Kodak just isn't going to cut it any longer. What would be the best starter DSLR to get? She hates missing photo opportunities due to camera 'lag' so speed would definitely be at the top of the list. Photo quality and features would be next. Price should be no more than $800. I'm not interested in video capabilities."
