If they rigged it, then where would they go from there? They would have to invite scientists in to analyze it and they would eventually be found out, and probably sued for fraud (with the evidence of the rigging)

As long as they maintain the illusion that success is just over the hill, there is no way to prove that they are running a scam, and they can still ask for more money from their investors.

It's a lot like the 419 Nigeria scam. The scam would end pretty quickly if the thieves told the victim, "Ok, we put the money in your bank account," and it wasn't there.

It's an age old scam, and it's sad that it continues to work today.
I can't wait to see the elderly and disabled towering above everybody. It would be quite easy to demand respect from you young whippersnappers/
Does this have a heat sink that has to be placed outside the area? If not, how does it cool the air?
3t3, the reason bacteria grows there is because it doesn't have a chance to dry out if you keep it screwed to the toothbrush (or if you place it on the plastic stand that Sonicare provides).

However, if you unscrew the top, underneath it is a magnet. I place the top on something metal, with the magnet holding it in place, which allows the inside to dry out. This has kept it clean ten times longer then when I used to leave it on the brush or put it on its stand.
How is this better than *curtains*?
HughJass, yes he did:

'Then I got into the cockpit and one of my friends started to wind up the 30m [100ft] elastic band on the propeller...'
Going 0 to 60 in one second with constant accelaration, is 2.7 G's. That's pretty cool...
If they designed it right, then the plane wouldn't start accepting input from ground stations until someone forcibly entered the cabin. And then of course they would use some sort of encryption to fly the plane to make it difficult to override the signal.
Padriac, why would Apple need your computer to phone home 3 times a day in order to make sure you are downloading an authentic Apple widget? Apple would just need to check at installation time.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"For a long time I have been searching for a portable device where I can store all of my CDs in MP3 format and stream the songs wirelessly to my HiFi system. The portable device must I've tried FM transmitters, they all suck. I don't want a docking station. Any help? Thanks!" have a display so that I easily can scroll through the playlists (I don't want to use a TV or monitor). I suppose that there must also be a second device that is connected to the HiFi system that would receive the wireless streams from the portable device.
