@(Unverified) When they've actually invented it. You realise it's just a slab of plastic at the moment?
@Indefinite Implosion bugmenot
You may think the enter key is in the right place, but everyone knows the UK layout is far superior! I can't stand your single-row enter keys. And you put backslash in a stupid place. Grr.
Why is this on engadget? You don't promote 419 scams or phishing websites - why this?
"As you can see in the helpful illustration above, that shift would also actually increase the size of the ECC,"

Really? Looks slightly less to me. Per unit of data of course. Any other measure is stupid. You're not stupid, are you engadget?
@Brokinarrow Yeah, hence why I said "in this iteration".
"we don't think any of these claims can be won quickly, easily, or cheaply"

Or at all.
@Andir Dalvik currently uses a stop-the-world garbage collector. This literally stops the world, often for hundreds of milliseconds at once. Needless to say this is inexcusable in a game.

Fortunately it is possible to write android games almost entirely in C++.
@mbushnell Erm... isn't that what they did?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
