"$99 price point for base model? otherwise im sticking with my eee pc 1000HE"
Stick to your 1000he? you paid around $350 for your. the 1005ha is smaller in all dimensions, has 1 more hour of battery life, is aesthetically more pleasing and cost the same.

why stick to your 1000HE? Why stick to any netbook for any lenghty period of time for that matter.

I since may 2008 i have gone through 4 netbooks (Eee 900->MSI Wind->Eee 1000h->Eee1000HE). They are almost instantly replaced by better models at the same or better pricepoint so i dont see why anyone would hang on to one.

(btw- just sold my 1000HE (which i really enjoyed) for $10 less than What I Paid for the 1005HA to replace it.)
Id use the shift to replace a sub-notebook, for surfing and email
perhaps they meant the front of the projector being parallel with the wall..

"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
