I'd love to write something here, but I just don't know what to put... I sure hope that I had a chance at winning this though.
Although they might not be new, this is probably one of the first half-way decent looking ones.
Uh... does that thing have Vista on it, because the windows sure look like it.
To state this first, I am not a farmer or anything of the sort, but this comment seems extremely derogatory towards people who farm. Who says that they are just dumb hicks? That's like saying all black people are killers and rapists, or that every Mexican citizen in America is illegal. It's just wrong.

Just because you live somewhere that doesn't have good coverage by major cellular providers doesn't mean that you must live in the middle of the boondocks. It just means that you live somewhere with bad coverage
I smell Langoliers.
I really don't understand what being a fan of a certain company has to do with what editors at Engadget post.

A story gets posted, people read it, and automatically comments fly up all over the article about so-and-so being a fanboy and this company sucking and this game system is terrible.

What would most of you do if every single company just sorta merged into one giant conglomerate of a company and they sold one game console or one operating system? What would you all find to complain about then?

Engadget, please just start offering up segregated news feeds by companies so we can end this fanboy bullshit.
Oh yes Dan, because you having 23,000 myspace friends means anything to anyone?
Hell, I could go and add 23,000 random people on Myspace and be right up there with you!

Anyway. This thing is amazing.
I'm not trying to seem needy or anything, but I lost my cell phone last Sunday and I could really use a new one right about now. I'm stuck using a beat up Nokia 6103 and I was looking to get this phone, but the under the circumstances, I couldn't get one, so it would be great if I got this...
Agreed as well.

And it looks more like a Sansa MP3 player.
So uh, what exactly qualifies you as a genius? As jon said, go look up OLED.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
