That ball in the middle reminds me of what happens with people's Blackberrys scroll ball after they use it for a long time... it turns black from dirt and such.
Okay, here comes my analysis of this...

First off, I was upset that Steve wasn't going to be there in January. And so was a ton of other people. But, looking back at it, it'll help Apple's stock in the long run. You see, Apple's stock (and the company itself) is based off of hype. Last year's MacWorld had so much hype going into it that when Apple didn't deliver what analysts want, the stock tanked.

So, with Apple not going to MacWorld, this will probably lead to a steady stock before, during, and after it. But TWO things should be on Apple's focus right now... Steve Jobs' health and his succession plan. Those two things over the next couple of months will have more of an effect on the stock then products they announce.

It's early Sunday morning (EST) three days after Thanksgiving, and honestly, I don't think there's that much going on at the moment in the tech world. So, be thankful, and it could be worse... they could talk more about **gulp** an Apple update!
No offense, but your capitalizing grammer isN't tOO good.
I found out today through it's Twitter page. **sniff** I'll miss that bugger and it's updates. **sniff**
How are these articles making me want to go out and buy a Mac? Not once does Mac or PC inform the viewers the upsides of a Mac. But instead, both ads attack the negativity surrounding Vista. In my opinion, not that classy at all. Is this a John McCain negativity ad attacking Barack Obama? Because it sure feels like it.
@Tomek

Just make sure you turn the camera off. Those would be some interesting photos that would be hard to explain to your girlfriend.
Yes! I'm going to be up all night watching Family Guy on Hulu! And with Auto-Shutdown, can the PS3 recognize when I've dozed off and fallen asleep, thus automatically shutdown? Now that right there would be innovation!

Look at Apple's stock in the past week. Since these rumors came out, they've gone up. Correlation? I think so.

Apple's stock is based a lot on hype. Hype is what drives the company. Hype makes everyone excited for the next iPhone/iPod/Macs, and what drives hypes? Rumors. Thus, all of these "rumors" may or may not be legit, but it still drives the stock.

Take a look at Macworld '08. A LOT of hype building up to it. iPhone this, iPod that, and when Macworld ended, Apple didn't match the hype with it's releases. Thus, the stock price plummeted. You'll notice after Tuesday that if Apple releases the necessary products to match the hype, then the stock will go up.
I had a RAZR, thus, I got a new phone. I threw my RAZR against the wall and the screen came off. The bottom half still works and it can receive calls, I just can't hear people (not that important, right?). Good luck throwing your iPhone against a wall and seeing if that thing lives.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"All of these new nettops have me intrigued. I'm looking for a small, quiet and cheap PC to replace my aging tower in my home office, and all it really needs to do is load Microsoft Office, check email and surf the web. Is there a particular nettop that's better (or a better value) than another? I know it's a rather new segment, but hopefully someone has taken a chance on one already. Thanks!"
