Overlooking all of DABs problems, the real issue here is that there is bugger all to listen to!
When I'm in or around London I'm in tune to an fm pirate because they are the only ones who cater to my musical tastes. The commercial radio that makes up 95% of the dab band is utter shite to say the least!
London underground staff have special cards that give them unlimited travel. Sniff out one of those, then you'll be able to clone the card and get free unlimited travel!!
Would save me a few thousand pounds a year I can tell you!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"My father-in-law is heading back to school in the spring and wants a laptop for Christmas. The only catch is their budget is around $400 and he does not want a netbook. He's not very "tech savvy" at all and doesn't need a hoss of a machine (not that $400 could get you one). We would like to get it for him as soon as possible and would love some input."

This might have something to do with the fact that my wii has a modchip in it!
seriously its not a bad way of combating piracy. Take the wii fit for example, why play a game like wii fit without the wii fit board???
It means people like me who have a modded wii's STILL go out and buy games for these damm peripherals!
