I got my Mini 9 about three months ago and I love it. I rarely ever use a desktop, I've pretty much switched completely over to this little guy.
What I'm saying is, why remove usable keys such as tab, caps lock, ect. and simply remove the arrow keys. Using Fn + WASD would make a better text editing style anyway.
Question: Why don't they remove the arrow keys and be done with it? I mean, really, gamers don't use them anymore - they switched to WASD a long time ago. Just a thought...
Stuff...I wants it
I don't understand why the iPhone gets such a bad rap. I got one and I love it.
I know what your saying. I had an old Inspiron 6400 that I was getting maybe 30 minutes of battery life out off. I got a Mini 9 and I have to say - best money I every spent. 4.5 hours of battery and the size really make it likable.
I got a Dell Mini 9 at the beginning of the month and since then, I have switched entirely over to using it. I use it for school and play an occasional hour or two of World of Warcraft. Even with a 16GB SSD I'm fine; coupled with a 16GB SDHC card it works like a charm. For heavy gaming, I always turn to my XBox360 + Call of Duty: World at War - never fails to satisfy.
Someday, people will get smart and just start making electronics waterproof right out of the box.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
