I have a feeling that these are made in China. You can actually get one with only half the price (if I remember correctly). Even cheaper if you buy in bulk.

I have seen such robot in action during an Automation exhibition. No doubt it's so cool, but the most basic configuration still cost too much for such investment to be justified (USD40k if I remember correctly). Besides I was told that the heaviest load for pneumatic suction system is only 5kg.
Finally an innovation / mod that benefit the handicap? Nice.
Brilliant design. This is so cool, as long as it's affordable.
Rich man won't pay $1k for a piece of crap. So the features will not be compromised.
I'm still using regular printed map. But read and drive is pretty dangerous.

"All of these new nettops have me intrigued. I'm looking for a small, quiet and cheap PC to replace my aging tower in my home office, and all it really needs to do is load Microsoft Office, check email and surf the web. Is there a particular nettop that's better (or a better value) than another? I know it's a rather new segment, but hopefully someone has taken a chance on one already. Thanks!"
