I'm one of the very few people who bought a netbook with Linux on it, and I kind of regret it now. As everyone says, it's a pain to get new stuff to work, sometimes it does, and sometimes it doesn't for no apparent reason. I've tried various types of Linux on desktops and laptops at home, and not once have I been able to connect to my network, so that's it for me and Linux. Interestingly, I also have far more connectivity problems with my mac than I do with my Vista computer. The mac is forever dropping the connection, despite being in a better place for the signal.

That would make a big difference to me. I enjoyed the film, but really missed that story arc.
Who's forcing you to buy anything?
How much space does a game like Resistance Retribution take up anyway? What with Battlestar Galactica and Lost being on GoView, I;ve generally only got a couple of gigs of space on my card, and my saved games are on there too. If I've got to change cards, I might as well change umd's, or am I missing something? Wouldn't be the first time...
If only it had worked on any of the computers I've installed it on. It's never detected any wifi hardware, so I can't use it. Boo.
Nokia not as popular? Don't they sell far more phones worldwide than Apple? I'd also be mildy surprised if Android phones had sold as many as Nokia.
Yup, this is a great game. I loved the volume control going up thing.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a 12- or 13-inch ultraportable that can also play modern games at a reasonable level, for less than $1,000. I know the brainiacs out there can help me out. Love the site, thanks!"
