There are going to be helicopters, but no planes. I'm pretty positive 9/11 has nothing to do with it, though. I saw in an article that there's no point to planes because there is no terrain other than the city. I could be wrong, but just because it's NYC, I wouldn't automatically assume it's because of Sep. 11th.
Get your info straight. The $499 INCLUDES the paint job.

Why would you have a sealed Curve anyway? If you want the full warranty, sell your sealed-in-the-box curve for retail cost (unless you dropped it on the floor of your carpeted motor home), then buy one from ColorWare.

"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
