Another vote for Sony MDR-V6 / MDR-7506 (used to be different names for same headphones).

V6's have excellent sound reproduction and isolation, and have a comfortable bass level. You can't beat Grados for proper sound reproduction, but you don't want to wear them for a long time and the bass levels are a little lacking for casual listening.

V6s are used in radio, TV, and virtually every other type of audio production situation - while not the highest priced, many maintain that they are one of the most balanced and refined headphones ever produced for professional use

I've had my V6's for 7 years (I was in HS when I bought them - imagine the abuse!), and they are absolutely rock solid. I had to replace the ear pads (replaced with Beyerdynamic pads - don't get as warm or oily, but increase the distance of your ear from the driver)

Probably the wisest $60 investment I've ever made. Just buy them.
Brookstone is planning on acquiring them, in their aggressive motion to take Sharper Images' place as retailer of most completely unnecessary products in US gadget history.
You've GOT to be kidding me. Has anyone EVER thought to themselves "Boy, it sure would be nice if I could control my room aroma thing's level of intensity remotely via my computer"?? I can guarantee a negative on that.

How do companies trick themselves into believing that products like this are actually worthwhile?
I'd put my money on BigDog now...
Wait... why??? Oh, never mind...
Oh crap. Not another company consumed by the purging fires of Microsoft.
Mark,

the Touch doesn't have a polished aluminum "rim" like the iPhone does - see Apple's website. Appearance-wise, it mimics the iPhone. Technicalities, people. Read, then think, then speak. It's really quite simple.
No... it just looks like an iPhone.
Ameen,

I'm not sure if you read the bottom of my post, but I clearly stated:

"I hate the iPhone, but I hate ripoffs of products even more."

You're missing the point completely... It'd be like buying a car that looked exactly like a Ferrari simply for the image. Guaranteed there are much better PMPs out there than this, but this one is bound to succeed because it looks like the iPhone. Get it?
Say hello to the iPhone... oh wait... my bad, I mean the new "Telcast M26". The new Telcast M26 ships with built-in Ego-boost™ functionality. For those unwilling or unable to drop down the cash for a REAL iPhone, the M26 will deliver you the same public affection, "trendy" label, and "I rock" ego boost as if you had purchased a real iPhone: your ego will soar, your wallet will remain fat, and your friends... well, you'll still have none. The M26: the best way to make yourself feel cool when you want to be cool so badly.

I hate the iPhone, but I hate ripoffs of products even more. Trash. Plain trash.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"For a long time I have been searching for a portable device where I can store all of my CDs in MP3 format and stream the songs wirelessly to my HiFi system. The portable device must I've tried FM transmitters, they all suck. I don't want a docking station. Any help? Thanks!" have a display so that I easily can scroll through the playlists (I don't want to use a TV or monitor). I suppose that there must also be a second device that is connected to the HiFi system that would receive the wireless streams from the portable device.
