Thats actually a really good idea haha. I've been thinking about installing a back up camera and i'll now look into this as an option.

I would love this in my 2008 Rogue. Especially if the back lighting is an orange color like the rest of my console.

My stock receiver didn't come with build in MP3 support, only AUX which is weak imo. I know i would easily put in any of the hundreds of receivers, but most of them look too messy and cheap. I want something thats easy to ready, with big buttons, and simple/clean looking. This posted receiver look nice since it isn't as expensive as some out there, doesn't look super expensive so it wont get stolen in 2 days, and comes with a nice feature set.

I really hope this becomes a reality in a year or so and Nvidia or ATI doesn't try and block it out with driver updates.

If someone chokes and dies in a pie eating contest should their family sue because they weren't chewing their food properly? What about a contest with eating a certain amount of X before winning a prize? What if I die while waiting in line to get into an Engadget live show?

The woman who died was 28 years old, wasn't force to partake in the contest, and was old enough to understand what it means to hold your urine and drink too much water. She didn't have a gun held to her head.

I cant imagine the loss the family is going through. It just seems like they are trying to find someone to blame in her death.

This is just Nintendo up to their regular games. My girlfriend birthday is mid December. I wonder if i should get her one of these or just the normal one.

I hope we find out what the required plans will be on these phones.

In the old days all navigation software was like this on the PC. It was a normal install that saved maps for the entire US, it didn't need any sort of connection because everything was stored locally. The only reason you would need a network connection was to install an update.

Hell, Google could offer this as an iPhone/iPod Touch/Android App and just have the user select an entire city to download in advance.

I know exactly what you mean.It would be nice if you could just download a 100 mile radius around you and use that to plot directions without having to connect to a network of any kind. I wish Google would do that.

It could be nice if there were maps of your area and you wouldnt have to be connected to any kind of network to use them.

Is LTE backwards compatible with the CDMA network? I mean when the LTE networks are launched will they be able to use CDMA networks?
