Oct 5th 2009 11:23PM im in the exact same situation as you. im in southern cali actually and i never have service anywhere. my phone is constantly saying no network service meaning 0 bars. my friend on the other hand has verizon and as a pilot travels everywhere like texas, arizona, florida etc. there have only been two spots he didnt get coverage, an underground cement building at his old high school, and a beach in hawaii. he even gets coverage when we go hiking in the mountains at over 6500 feet. what makes this strange is that according to at&t.com's coverage map, my house is in the strongest bracket for service and yet i never get more than 3 bars, 1 bar 90% of the time. this is the only thing keeping me from dropping my land line too.

Aug 3rd 2009 12:56AM i doubt a camera is going to project 8 by 12 foot images. 8 by 12 inches would be kinda cool to do with my camera though. the problem for me is, my definition of "good quality" is very different from most companies. nikon now brings you "multi pixel displays"
Super Talent's Pico USB drive: still world's smallest, now 32GB {Engadget}
Jul 29th 2009 3:15AM i had the 8gb. very durable but slow as hell. and it gets insanely hot. as you can guess i did lose it. it was attached to my keys but the chain it came with was total crap so it broke off.
what i dont get is why the prices of drive are not only the same as last year but in some cases going up. i bought this one for 23.99 last year and an 8gb sandisk cruzer for 14.99. now the drives are a couple bucks more than a year ago.

Jul 26th 2009 1:23AM i was thinking the same thing. my grandpa has 6. one on the nightstand, one for the jacuzzi, one by the massaging lazy boy and the big screen (spoiled), one in the kitchen, one for the bathroom, and one for the office. it's always conservative old guy talk radio too A.M. of course. you just cant beat the low constant static of analog.
