support for newer legit apps
so update through iTunes with a 3GS and i'll be able to keep my t-mo? (after the blackra1n of course)
I believe the ION platform does not include Celeron (but mentions c2d)....but they could lose that too, as far as I'm concerned.

ALSO has anybody else noticed the random price fluctuations since launch @ $399, it was one the site as $524 one day I checked :-P oh, Dell....
Tech blogs, ain't journalism, is a whole new fractured English ballgame. lolz
Now that I think of it, It probably does overheat, If you use Vista...I wouldn't know, I upgraded to 7 the day I got it.
It doesn't OVER heat, it just gets reasonably hot when you really push it...I will say, if you're gaming, put it on a FLAT surface, as to not block the bottom vents.
I had one USB port that didn't work (i bought scratch 'n' dent from the outlet) but it was no big deal, they came to my house, replaced the motherboard and left, no problem what so ever.
The [non rgbled] screen is gorgeous, but recently they moved to 15.6" panels for the entry model, so YMMV. I did not get the blu-ray option, only because I only download/stream my media. As far as power goes, it has handled everything I've thrown at it very well, CS4 Master Suite, GTA 4...haven't tried Crysis yet, only because it crashes in windows 7. This laptop is pure sex, and i would recommend it to anybody who needs power and [a fair amount of] portability.
If the rest of the laptop's plastic was also white, I'd vote for this, but as-is; not a chance.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
