with what game did you played in game music?
Fatal Inertia (demo)
Top Spin 3 (demo)

Nothing works with in game music, I'm going to check that video to see what game was that

Sony lied to us.

They told us that 'most' games will work with XMB

They should have told us that most games will work with SOME features of the XMB like web browser, trophies, friend list and messaging...

and that some other features (mention in game Music here), will work with future games developed specifically for firmware 2.40 and up (so we have to wait 3-6 months to see this).

Then, their announcement would be serious, but not, as always, Sony promising things it shouldn't say

I am so angry, I will even sell my PS3, but Metal Gear Solid 4, Gran Turismo Prologue 5, the silence that this machine is (compared to my Cesna, I mean, Xbox 360 with Intercooler), make me love it

I am afraid to turn my Xbox 360 on, I'm afraid to see a Ring of Death sooner than later.

So, the solution is to buy games in X360 if they are only made for X360

Connect your PS3 to the same monitor that you use for the computer (I have it like that in my room)

and enjoy in-game music from iTunes, and play the game, all in a very nice (modest, but working) solution from your own home.

If you play your PS3 on your living room, but a dock speaker (bose has a good quality), and done

Forget about sues, copyrights... and the battle between PS3 and X360.

If the guys at PS3 made a better machine, then I'm sticking with that one, I don't care the work around, there is a work around, and in 3-6 months, PS3 games will include XMB compatibility

I am just angry that I felt for Sony, I totally believe what they were saying
Metal Gear Solid 4
NCAA Football 09

nothing works so far with in-game music
Metal Gear Solid 4 does not works with in game XMB

NCAA Football 09 (demo) does not works with in game XMB

I hope they release a list somewhere of demos and games that actually support XMB
Grand Theft Auto IV doesn't works!!!

Ok so basically all games created from now on (maybe not even those games, but future games), will play MP3 files (not AAC files), and in order to not infringe the patent by Microsoft, the game needs to play those files.

Ok, so Smackdown vs Raw 2009, FIFA 09, Madden 09, Prince of Persia... the new games, will support XMB.

However, some of those games, which are in the final stages of production, will not support XMB (music, that is the most important thing)

So I would say 50% of the titles until September will fully support XMB Music, and by the end of the year I would say that nearly 100% of the games will support XMB Music playback

GTA IV doesn't works with XMB
Yeah I thought it was patented. But Sony has a work around, sweet!!!

VIVA SONY!!!

LONG LIVE SONY!!!
Testing Grand Theft Auto IV now.
Will test Motor Storm soon and Metal Gear Solid 4

Something tells me this is like Sony, we got so excited

Sony told us that PS3 'will' be compatible with PS2, and no, they weren't. So all games from now on will be compatible with XMB, but popular games previously released (even Gran Turismo 5 Prologue, which is SUPPOSED to show all the capabilities of Sony PS3), will not be entirely popular, so this is a transition time.

I hope GTA can be popular, that will surely make me play that game again, and I really want Metal Gear Solid 4 to be compatible

One question though, will they ever make Sony PS3 AAC (ID3 tagging like everyone else) compatible? That will be NEAT
Gran Turismo 5 Prologue doesn't work with music, BIG DISAPOINTMENT
Games that don't work with music so far:

* Formula One
* Gran Turismo 5 Prologue (BIG DISAPOINTMENT)

I will test Metal Gear Solid 4, Grand Theft Auto, and Motor Storm
Well, I traveled to Florida recently

My passport was expired, but I showed that one, because it has the current visa

I tried explaining that I have 2 passports, but now, he just marked my ticket

I swear, they almost searched my butt for explosives, because

1) Latino, passport expired
2) Lots of gadgets, could be a bomb

So what did I carried?

a) 3 iphods yes, 3. Iphone as a phone, iPod nano for jogging, big iPod for playing music
b) GPS for driving, TomTom Go 720
c) Bose around the ear headphones - for the iPhone, iPod
d) Bose TriPort in-ear headphones - for the nano
e) a chip in my shoe - Nike shoe with chip inside it Nike Sport+
f) a wirless receiver in the bottom of my iPod nano, to receive the data from my shoe
g) skin moisturizer, it was a regular bottle, not a sachet

Then, they let me go, but they forgot to mark my ticket.

So, before entering the plane, they blocked me, again, they trated me like a criminal or drug dealer (again, no respect at all)

All I could hear was "stay seated sir"

Like if I would be guilty of a crime or something

For me, travelling in airplane is fun, but gets too ridiculous.

Oh yeah I forgot, they made me throw away a skin moisturizer
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm heading to university next year, and I've purchased a MacBook. I'm also taking my four year old desktop, just in case I'm left with no computers when the MacBook is being repaired or whatnot. With only two USB ports on a MacBook, I want a Bluetooth mouse. Budget is about $100, and of course, it needs OS X support. Thanks for the help!"
