I've heard this when moving my MBP17 or tapping a little harder than normal. No system freeze when it happens, but it's a little scary hearing it.
I will wait until they have a color version that also does native PDFs. This seems like something Adobe would be jumping on.
So does this mean the author's guild wants to charge me every time I read my kid Goodnight Moon because the copy I have only covers print royalties and not audiobook royalties? What is the difference if I get a computer or a human to read me a book? Sounds like more attemps to grab whatever undeserved cash they can out of my pockets.
Now if only they would combine one of these with a Griffin Clarifi, I would be all set. And then I could ebay my current Mophie. It really does come in handy A LOT!

Not very portable is it? And paying them for something that should be free? No thanks.
Any idea if we'll be able to see the CCD sensor with the human eye?
Yeah funny thing is, I already have a hub that I take around with me everywhere I go. It's already killed our land line, which we only answer when we recognize the CallerID, and have not had long distance service on for about 10 years. Thanks Verizon, but I have what I need in my iPhone.
Looks like a Fisher Price palm pilot. No thanks.
Last thing I copied was some PHP code between windows in a VNC session.
The tsunami of duplicate garbage iphone applications has just eclipsed the sun.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I commonly need to boot a system from an external disc and take a snapshot of the host system. I also then need to burn a copy of the image to a DVD. While I can do it with two separate external devices, and two power supplies, and two I/O cables, it'd be nice to find a small dual-drive enclosure. It would need to have USB, eSATA, and FireWire. Either slim-line or half-height bay for the optical burner would be fine, and space for either a 2.5- or 3.5-inch hard disc. Any ideas?"
