hmmm,,,, sounds nice but I wonder why dont they use the 1GHz platform. My HTC from 2005 has roughly the same processor speed. I'd love to see this little monster flying with 1GHz processor :)
yup exactly my point as well... and theres been many small OS's like this for years.... to name just a few.....
Damn Small Linux (that is only 50Mb and offers firefox, network tools, etc etc) MobLin GeekXBox (well no browser but freakin good "OS" to use in a media center)
INGREDIENTS --------------------- 1, 12 to 15Gb whole leopard, cut into pieces 1 cup all-purpose flour salt and pepper to taste
PREPARATION --------------------- Carefully stripe out the 6Gb Fat printer drivers located in the animal's stomach. With the help of a sharp cutter, get rid of carnivore Rosetta: All chicken dressings will now have 50% less fat
In a large skillet, heat oil for frying. Fry coated leopard pieces in hot oil for about 5 minutes on each side. Cover skillet and cook on lower heat for about 10 minutes. Remove cover, turn up heat and tweak for 5 minutes on each side to make the cat crispy. Cat is done when it is no longer pink inside and its white juices run clear. Drain fried chicken on paper towels and keep warm in oven until ready to serve.
i think windows 7 changes are less deep. In fact I suspect it's all about a new explorer.exe skin (finally, i really hate that Vista Blue-And-Green mix!) and some registry tweaks.
SL, besides the tweaks, provides a 64 bit kernel, just in case anybody dares to use it... when we get 64 bit apps it will rock!
Also an 'identical' rewritten finder ... but rewriting something that sucks ... well... can only suck. Why dont you Apple guys buy Path Finder? It's been out for years and it IS certainly what finder should be. BTW- The icon size slider is been on Path Finder for years. I really regret CocoaTech is a small company and probably cannot take Apple to court, making Apple taste its own medicine...
hold your horses little cowboys! I don't think we're getting much performance out of Snow Leopard until the applications are recompiled in 64-bit code. 10Gb smaller? Finally they deleted those stupid printer drivers!
"I love my little computing companion but I often find myself missing a full sized keyboard. I have been looking at several of these portable and flexible keyboards, but I can't seem to make up my mind about which I should buy. I don't want the keyboard to be overly expensive, but I want it to be good quality. Also, how difficult is it to type on these keyboards? Thanks!"
