Where do these would get their connection from (LAN or wireless)?
The quick brown fox?
That fox is neither quick nor brown.
Does anyone know how the internet access is? For example, Wikipedia? I can just type wikipedia.org into (where?) and it will take me there?
Slowly but surely. I really hope this starts to catch on a lot faster.
I genuinely do like the first generation; however, that doesn't make it the more popular choice. Sony needed sales, and that's what they got.
Exactly. The one time price is what made it convenient. All the texting and email you could handle until the device breaks.
This will sell much better than the original.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"All of these new nettops have me intrigued. I'm looking for a small, quiet and cheap PC to replace my aging tower in my home office, and all it really needs to do is load Microsoft Office, check email and surf the web. Is there a particular nettop that's better (or a better value) than another? I know it's a rather new segment, but hopefully someone has taken a chance on one already. Thanks!"
