Fuck you, Topolsky, he raises a good point. You guys pander to the apple fanboys because it gets you reads, you don't write shit in the way of real tech news. Dick.
Awwww hell no. I had it in high school which is why its not working as well any more, but I'm not getting rid of it.
Sweet, my first gen is getting a little bit old.
My guess would be late Q4 of 2009 or early Q1 of 2010. Call it E8 or E1.
I love how when microsoft put out a sluggish pre-beta you guys tore it up with a lengthy featured article, but when apple puts out a sluggish beta (that is going to cost me ten bucks to get by the way) the sluggishness gets a one line half mention. Really unbiased.

its nice to take a break from reading engadget religiously for a few weeks and then come back to read up and see crap like this. what an awful website this has become. its just too bad that with gizmodo and now engadget there are no worthwhile tech blogs to read out there.
I use a precision m4300 for cad. It rules. I got it off of ebay from a seller who had recertified dells, so they were "technically" new, and it has never failed me. With the new precisions out, you can probably get an m4300 for about 1k.
want
This is so not a big deal. Netbook: Home Basic Anything above Netbook, at home, and not on some douchey nerd who "needs" Ultimate: Home Premium (that includes HTPC) Pro Use computer: Business. Douchebag: Ultimate. Done.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
