So essentially what this box does is allowing Sprint to charge you for using your own electricity and broadband connection. Sounds great.
I'm sure if you pony up $5 they'll even let you have a beer from your own fridge.
LOL
Oh, and Dell: PLEASE get rid of whoever 'designed' this hideous enclosure.
So what's hybrid about this? Oh, i guess I get it...
And if you want a Mac mini, why don't you just buy one? Sure, the Dell is $100 cheaper, but only if you ignore the shipping and then again you find yourself with a miserable Celeron CPU and neither WiFi nor Bluetooth or a remote.
And don't tell me that measly $5 keyboard and mouse make any difference.
Spec it up a bit and the price difference is gone.
Might also be worth mentioning that MLC currently has a 10x shorter lifetime and is significantly slower. So it will be particularly interesting how hynix will perform on this side.
If they continue that MLC trend there it will not help much since it will only be useful for devices were speed and reliability don't matter - probably not SSDs. So I'm very curious to hear more
Nice and simple design and certainly a good size.
But 55 lumen? Please let that be a mistake. That's the light output of 4 candles or a 8 Watt lightbulb.
Ouch, maybe this would be a good time for them to consider hiring a designer. Doesn't need to be a good one. Just someone. Please!
I seriously hope this does NOT just launch on GSM (2G) networks - otherwise all the 3G would be for nothing :)
Yep, that sure sounds like a good business model - so if you want to get rich here's the recipe:

1. Buy Nespresso Le Cube machine for around 170 €
2. Buy 3100 adhesive Swarovski crystals - 1400 cost around 40€, so 100€ should do the trick
3. Stick them on
4. Find a person with more money than brains and have them pay 2500€ for your hideous 270€ creation.

I just hope people will eventually get tired of all that bling, it hurts my eyes...
Well, i'll rather use my little Toyota with 7 airbags. It's a lot safer, uses less fuel than most current motorcycles and is way more friendly to the environment. Doesn't require hideous suits either.
If I need the thrill of acceleration and wild physics I board a roller coaster instead of risking my own and other people's lives on the road.
On my way to work I pass some nice curvy countryside roads. Their sides are lined with candles put up for killed motorcyclists. This bull.... should really be forbidden.
Stunning. I've never read so much bullshit compressed into a single press release.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I love my little computing companion but I often find myself missing a full sized keyboard. I have been looking at several of these portable and flexible keyboards, but I can't seem to make up my mind about which I should buy. I don't want the keyboard to be overly expensive, but I want it to be good quality. Also, how difficult is it to type on these keyboards? Thanks!"
