Chainsaw off me a piece of this contest!
Paragraph, it would be useful in several scenarios. Here is just one. You show up as a first responder to an oil spill. You take photos of the extents of the spill. You can create a polygon that shows the size of the spill from a series of images. Later you take more photos and you can determine if the spill is getting worse or being contained.

Another Scenario - you come across some artifact and you want to take it's picture and then report it's location, not yours. This can be for personal reasons (photos of monuments you saw on your trip to Prague) or for Emergency response such as the location of a truck that went down a ravine. Sometimes the object you want to image and locate is far away and you can't get to it for some reason.

There are a lot of ways in which this info is useful.

Just saying.
I just looked up EXIF - very cool and I like it a lot. I had not heard of it before. I knew that there was information in images, but I wasn't sure how it was stored. My Sony cameras have been saving f-stop, apperature and other info for years. I think you are right that this is the right place to store that information.
It's the future, I think. Metadata on all of our data. I think it will transform how we use and look at data as much as XML did to help us leverage data.

Camera's should have this kind of thing built in (and probably will in 5 years). What would be even nicer is getting range finder information so that the location of the subject is captured instead of just the location of the photographer.
So why does everyone in this country feel a need to sue? Did they even seek to address their issues with the company to see if there could be an accomodation for them? Are they even wheelchair bound? I hate greedy people.
Back in the 70's, a hand held transistor radio with a speaker on it was cool. I know - I was there. Just think of this as some retro-love. You can relive what it was like to live in a world without the Internet.
"I have WOOD for SHEEP!"

Sounds dirty but isn't!

I love Catan and the boardgame it came from. One of my all time favorites. It really started the wave of great boardgames we now have that came out of Europe and later the US.

A quality XBLA game in my opinion!
Well, we still don't have flying cars on the market yet but this will keep me distracted for a while. I hope the powers that be don't wait too long though. I want to still be young enough to enjoy the flying car promised when I was a kid!
Some games that were popular probably won't see BC like Battlefield 2:MC since there is a 360 version out there. I think this is to get people to buy the 360 version. I still have my XBC so I'll play it there. I don't plan on getting the XB360 version though since the game is a bit too cartoony for me and doesn't really promote team play which I prefer.

The number that still shocks me though is that the PS2 is STILL outselling the XB360. Its the cheap price point. I think that should serve as a warning for Sony about their mega-priced PS3. Food for thought.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
