Feb 4th 2009 9:51PM Someone would have to be an idiot to pay >$40 for an HDMI cable. The reason people still buy retail and not online is instant gratification. Why pay $11 after shipping and get it in a few days when you can pay $40 and get it NOW?! It is ridiculously hard not to drop the money when you have a big new tv and a shiny new components laying around.

Feb 4th 2009 4:34PM I did say at mine.
The large majority of RadioShack employees are monkeys off the street who don't know composite from component. The large majority of RadioShack employees don't know how they're paid either, nor do they care. A lot of employees are just college kids (guilty) who are just looking for something to do and put a little bit of money in their pocket with little to no effort (not guilty). There's a reason our store is consistently on top for our sales to returns ratio. Our store only hires nerds who browse Engadget!
I side with you on this one. When I walk into retail, I expect the person, especially if it is a 16-25 year old working, I assume they know nothing about their stuff.
