Don't forget http://www.trade2save.com - here you can trade-in all your used gadgets. Trade2save then sells them on to other customers who would otherwise buy new. This reduces the waste stream by reducing the demand for new products.
This wind turbine could be mounted on roofs of high rise blocks in cities, where housing associations could pool together and share the benefits. At $5,000 each I would hope that they started paying for themselves after 3-4 years.
Steve jobs is only interested in aesthetics. Keyboard is great, but it gives you shocks (aluminum) - especially if not wearing shoes and have a nylon carpet.
There's nothing as good as the Mac Pro/imac keyboard.
Big Ben should be renamed Big Brother
This looks like a great camera, but it's a Sony - No reason to get 14MP over 10MP - unless you want the picture the size of a billboard.
@GoogleMyName Why oh Why would you bust it out at a party? Maybe the host has a PS3 anyway. I'd rather spend the $1200 on an HD 63" flat screen.

I don't understand why t can't be as thin as a normal laptop. can someone explain?

It's what's inside that counts.

The wood will keep the children warm on the e-waste tips of Guiyu, but

the motherboard, hard drive, CPU, video card, sound card etc will still give

them renal disease and cardiovascular complications later in life.

If they came with a take back guarantee to dispose of product 'locally' under US health guidelines then it would be green. I have a sore head.
There'll always be a tiny spec or 2 to sandwich themselves under the case and scratch your iPhone to shit without you realizing.
I agree buying nothing is better. Buy second hand is the next best thing because you save an extra product being made/shipped etc (via lowering demand). The product you trade-in gets bought by someone else too. Save money. save waste. Mamma jibe taken back with sincere apology.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
