fix expose bugs where multiple windows of the same program can lead to the incorrect window opening when trying to select one. (happens to me all the time when using matlab especially)
I am really liking my Mini 1000 based on the excellent keyboard and screen. The battery isn't great and the HDD options aren't too great either, but I replaced the HDD with an MTron SSD which is real fast and battery life isn't terribly important to me, so it was a perfect fit and a very useful machine. Watch out for the keyboard on these netbooks cause you'll find that you don't really use it as much as you would/could if the keyboard is too small for real typing.
Stop it with the shiny surfaces already, they look terrible, tacky, and cheap. Rubberize and matte everything electronic and it looks waaaaaay better.
I would have bought a PSP a long time ago if not for overpriced propriety sony stuff. If they had downloadable games to nice n cheap SDHC cards then I'd be all over that.
I killed a man with my Mini 1000 and now it looks identical.
@Angus,
Just to be sure, you know that when you flip the G9 over you can click a button to make the scroll wheel smooth right? I'm not saying you don't know that but if that's the feature that you are talking about from the MX then maybe I just made your day?
I installed the 32 bit beta 7000 that leaked last week and I liked it, so I know I'm going to upgrade from XP (it's gotta happen eventually), but I just have too many things to install and not enough time on my hands.
I'd be all over this but the betas get deactivated and I'm not going to reinstall 500GB worth of music production apps again in 6 months or so. If the beta is so awesome just release the full version already eh?
Yeah plastic gold is real...
nevermind.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I love my little computing companion but I often find myself missing a full sized keyboard. I have been looking at several of these portable and flexible keyboards, but I can't seem to make up my mind about which I should buy. I don't want the keyboard to be overly expensive, but I want it to be good quality. Also, how difficult is it to type on these keyboards? Thanks!"
