@miakotamatsue

Ok, forget this story and go take pictures with your blackberry. You do not belong to here.
@tino

Clearly? Smaller Censor?!!

What are you talking about?
I guess Canon 1000D or Nikon D3000 is as pocket-able as this one!

The camera being a little thin does not change anything, because the lens is the problem with DSLRs.

Besides, Pocketable PnS cameras offer 10x-25x zoom. To achieve same level of zoom with normal super zoom lens, the lens needs to be at least 15-20cm long.
@Numetheus

I could not stare at e-Ink for a long time (My eyes would start to sting and weep) but I use my PC for 10-12 hours daily.

The one I used was PRS505 (Sony) which is one of the best available.

The contrast is not that good and the background is gray rather than plain white.
In my opinion, if it can handle PDFs better (zoom etc) it could be much more useful than the available 6" readers.

I obtained a 6" Sony PRS505 reader and sold it because it was almost useless with PDFs. Windows CE and the WinCE version of acrobat reader should be good.

Besides it is more cool to read color magazines on this compared to let's say kindle DX.
if this device could handle a PDF reader it can be much better than available e-book readers. I would buy a 10 inch one in that case
They have a considerable market share in LAN network switching in Asia (I'd say 50% of the LAN swiches being used in some countries in the region are supplied by 3Com). They do not work in US market.

And you understand that US!=World
Nikon's sensor is built by Sony?

Then what parameters cause the sony to have that much higher noise? Besides I guess in low light conditions the results on sony are not very good (or perhaps this is due to the metering of the camera?).

BTW I use Sony DSLR (because I can afford it and also because it's anti-shake is in-body I can easily find cheaper lenses for it). After I explore all its capabilities I might stay with higher end sony DSLRs or move to Canon or Nikon.
What are the differences between D3000 and D60? They have almost equal price. Would someone please clarify?
Helllo, it's a SLR, not a video camera. everything, even half of this is considered more than enough on a SLR.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
