You guessed it! I have owned iPods and still have the iPhone so I'm not an Apple hater, but it annoys me to see the slanted preferences given toward Apple.

At least Creative issued a firmware update this time, to address the criticism, instead of telling people to deal with it until they feel like it.
@Habakuk

Creative always makes excellent sounding players not tied to proprietary software(you don't really need to use Media Source) and also supports more open formats. You know why people bash it, it's not "fruit' related. Ignore the haters and have fun with your free use player.
I would really LOVE a 32GB Zune HD! :)
Now this is a very nice giveaway! :)

I will have to test the browser more then. I did give it another chance and it does seem I should have done further testing. It's OK for short term viewing, but I'm still not sure I could use it for a long period of time.

The OLED screen does indeed work for the video viewing, but it also makes everything in the music section easier to read IMO. Much clearer and sharper text.
@Smorkiepol9

On second thought, maybe I was a litle harsh about the video viewing on the Zune HD. The colors are very vibrant so that counts for something.

I just bought the Zune HD last weekend. I think it also is more music-centric. I watched video on it and looked at the browser too, and I have to say that I'm inclined to use it for music more. The interface for music is just so advanced over anything else I've seen and it looks like they put lots of thought into it. But video(on the Zune itself, I didn't try the TV out function) and the browser are not as exciting IMO.

As for apps, I only downloaded 2 because that's all I want to use at this time. I'm not too upset over lack of apps because I wanted a music player first anyway.
The interface and the way it and it's software handles your music files is a breath of fresh air compared to iPod and iTunes.

Good luck to the one who wins, it likely won't be me, LOL!

It's obviously a new phone platform, but nothing is guaranteed anymore if you ask me. Look at the iPhone, the newcomer blasted away everyone. And there were quite a few who predicted failure for the iPhone. Similar situation with Android, enough people like it so that it now has a good foothold and will likely continue.

This new phone could be a serious contender, you never know.
No kidding Mike!! It happens here ALL THE TIME. It's been proven that companies DO NOT SECURE CUSTOMER DATA, at least not with GOOD passwords and secure technology. It's apparently very easy to break through. So not only can employees steal data but outsiders get in too! We only hear about those who got caught stealing customer data, but what about those who didn't?

Then there was that other case posted today about TRUSTED companies helping to scam customers with "memberships". Credit card numbers were sold. Yep, our data is NOT safe.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
