Editorial: Taking the iPhone 3GS off the job market {Engadget}

Jul 13th 2009 8:31AM Only complaint I have with the article is your problems with the on screen keyboard. I've personally become very proficient with it, allthough I do agree about words that are not in the dictionary.

Overall this is a nice article, proves that my beloved device truly isnt perfect and I could see how you would get frustrated needing to do that many things. In my boring life, I can only read one website at a time and do not chat on the web pretty much ever.

Datawind bringing UbiSurfer, PocketSurfer3 to the US {Engadget}

Jul 13th 2009 8:25AM The pocketsurfer looks cool but those keys look like their straight from a crappy motorola flip phone, if their anything like that they're horrible. I'll stick with my iPhone on this go.

No surprise: Intel has known about Chrome OS, worked with Google on 'elements' of project {Engadget}

Jul 13th 2009 8:23AM So this is a potential "game-changing" OS thats coming out, and you pair it with an Atom...

Apple's 9.7-inch 'netbook' to debut in October for $800? {Engadget}

Jul 13th 2009 8:14AM I'm really guessing it will be like an oversized iPod Touch. I think it will be neat, but not worth that amount of coin. Only apple product I ever bought was my iPhone and iPhone 3G but I gotta say, I love em.

Sony's connected BRAVIA HDTVs score Netflix streaming, PS3 left in the cold {Engadget}

Jul 9th 2009 9:57AM If they brought it to the PS3 I would renew my service.

Acer poised to beat Dell, become number two PC maker {Engadget}

Jun 29th 2009 9:04AM We bought a $399 laptop from BestBuy to replace our Compaq that just killed its 2nd hard drive. It had a C2D 2.0ghz, 2Gb ram, 250gb hd, GMA 4100 graphics on a 14.1" screen and I am increadibly impressed with it. It has been dropped off our couch a couple of times with no problems, its really light and suprisingly powerful. I can play CSS and WoW on it, allthough it doesnt play WoW well enough to raid, at least at native resolution.

With this experience I have no problems trying more Acer products or recommending them.

Engadget's recession antidote: win one of 100 Microsoft Windows 7 pre-order discount codes! {Engadget}

Jun 25th 2009 12:16PM I thought windows 7 was really nice, and I'm tired of Vista, I swear its getting slower and slower on me.

Leaked Lenovo roadmap shows Calpella laptops coming January 2010? {Engadget}

Jun 19th 2009 8:46AM I don't get what the big deal is with Lenovo, they seem way overpriced for the specs. I have one in the office, its a R60 and it really isn't that impressive. I use an Acer with a 2.0 C2D at home and swear its way faster than this one.

How to tether your iPhone running OS 3.0 without jailbreaking, for free {Engadget}

Jun 18th 2009 8:38AM I had the worse update experience ever. My computer was updating iTunes when I plugged my iPhone 3G in. Next thing I know my phone says emergency calls only and that I should check my SIM card. So I checked it, looked fine, put it back in. Now it says on the phone it needs a restore from iTunes. I was like "fine, whatever Im updating it anyways". Once iTunes got updated, it errors when trying to connect to the iPhone. So ya, I'm taking off some time at work today to go to Apple and fix my phone. Freaking rediculous because I didnt touch anything out of the ordinary.
